Remembrance Day is fast approaching, so below is a list of scheduled events taking place on November 11, to allow you to plan your day. As is usual, there will be multiple services throughout the city taking place before the main Remembrance Day Service at the Guelph Sleeman Centre, and then an opportunity to get together after the parade at the ANAF Club as well as other service clubs around town. Wherever you end up after the service and parade, be sure to end your day at the ANAF with food, drink and music provided by DJ John McGlone. The Club doors will remain open well into the evening on November 11.
In the meantime, the 2014 Poppy Campaign is in full effect, with poppies being made available throughout the city. Make a donation and proudly wear your poppy today! Why do we wear the poppy? Click this link for a well written explanation of why the poppy is so important.
