THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT, WITHOUT YOU WE WOULD NOT HAVE BEEN ABLE TO COMPLETE THIS PROJECT.
We did it!
The Facade Fundraising project is completed and the new frontage, doors and windows are done. Our thanks go out to all the generous members and community support we received over the course of the project.
Over the last number of years, Members of ANAF Club 344 have seen significant improvements to their Club space and the building at large. Some of those changes have included renovated bathrooms, air conditioning, a new stage, sound system, re-tiled floors, new stools, replaced dart boards and much more. Outside the building repairs to the sidewalk, improved signage and the addition of a patio have made use of the Club all the more enjoyable.
In addition to these changes, the ANAF was given a facade improvement grant from the City of Guelph, covering up to 50% of the cost of exterior building improvements including restoring the front doors, repairing windows, improving the frontage and side entrance and more. The cost for the restoration and facade improvements was approximately $26,000.00. The ANAF 344 was able to raise the necessary $13,000.00 to complete this project, with the City of Guelph matching the funds raised to make up the remaining amount.
As part of an arrangement with the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario, all donations made to the Architectural Conservancy of Ontario for the ANAF Façade Improvement project were able to be charitable donation and were receipted for income tax purposes. So, thank you! Whether you are an ANAF Member, or a business or community member, we appreciate your support in helping us reach our goal. The new improvements to the facade of the ANAF building benefits us all, and showcases the pride we feel as citizens of Guelph in restoring such an historic building.
