McPHEE, Michael Anthony – Of Guelph, passed away peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital on Friday, December 4, 2020, with his family by his side at the age of 65. Will be sadly missed by his daughters Shannon (Josh Dusky) and Kelly (Steve Royea), and their mother Barb, as well as his wife Shirley Anne. Dear brother of Lynn (Wayne Slaney) and brother-in-law of Debbie Kipp. Cherished grandfather of Brandon, Tyler, Ashley, Tanner, Madison and Cameron. Lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews Leeanne, Julie, Tammy, Kevin, Pat and Justin. Predeceased by his parents Daniel and Shirley McPhee, and his brothers Danny and James. Special friend to Jackie Courtney. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. FORD, Charlie, Passed away at his residence on Tuesday December 25th, 2018, in his 74th year.

HINCHLIFFE, Phil, November 20, 1944 – October 28, 2018, Passed away peacefully in his sleep. Loving and devoted husband of Giuliana (nee Bertoni). He will be deeply missed by his children Kerry (Daryl) Turner, Paul (Fran) and Shaun (Tammy). He loved and was very proud of his wonderful grandchildren Amanda, Victoria (Go Guelph Gryphons!), Lauren, and Adam. Dear brother of Peter. He was an avid golfer and will miss his great friends at Kingsville Golf and Country Club. He was a proud member of the Army, Navy and Air Force Club #344 of Guelph for many years. He will be sadly missed by the Bertoni and Liburdi families as well as his friends in Windsor, Myrtle Beach, Guelph and England. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hospice of Windsor Essex County. Cremation has taken place. KELLY, Paul Joseph, Sunday, June 17, 2018, passed away suddenly at home on Father’s Day, in his 73rd year, was the beloved husband of Louise (nee Macerollo) Kelly. He was the dear father of Peter and Barry. Paul was a generous, witty, dedicated and down to earth character who loved his family, wife and most notably, their two sons. He was an accomplished independent contractor and artist who had a passion for reading and world history. He was an active member of The Army, Navy & Air Force Veterans in Canada (A.N.A.F. Club 344 Guelph). He will be greatly missed by many. Friends are invited to meet with the family at the Gilbert MacIntyre & Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St. N., Guelph, on Friday, June 22, 2018 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. A Funeral Mass will follow the visiting on the same day (June 22) at St. Joseph’s Church, 409 Paisley Road, Guelph, at 12 p.m. Cremation will follow. DYKSTRA, Gary December 21, 2016,  died peacefully in hospital surrounded by his wife and sons. He was in his 73rd year. Born in Joure, Friesland in The Netherlands at the tail end of World War II, Gary and his large family came to Canada in 1951. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. A celebration of Gary’s life will be held at the Army, Navy & Air Force Veteran’s Club 344, 32 Gordon Street, Guelph, on Saturday, January 14th, 2017 from 2 to 4 p.m. Another celebration of his life will take place at the Exeter Legion, Exeter, 316 William Street, from 2 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, January 7, 2017. HODGSON, Paul Elliott October 17, 2016, At one time serving as the ANAF 344 Sergeant At Arms, Paul passed away peacefully at Hospice Wellington in his 58th year with family by his side.  Paul will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, family and friends. Cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A Celebration of Paul’s Life will be held at the Red Chevron, 34 Elizabeth St., Guelph on Friday, October 21, 2016 from 3:00-6:00 p.m. Memorial contributions to Hospice Wellington would be appreciated.A tree will be planted in memory of Paul E. LEE, William (“Billy”) James Austin (RAF) July 9, 2016 At peace at last and gone to be with his beautiful Kathleen. The family of the late William Lee sadly announces his passing at St. Joseph’s Continuing Care in Guelph, ON. Billy Lee was a well known and celebrated figure at the ANAF Club 344, and was the last surviving Charter Member for the Guelph Unit, having helped establish the Guelph branch at age 37. Proud pilot with the RAF during the Second World War. Bill and Kathleen settled in Guelph, ON in 1953 after emigrating from Belfast, N. Ireland. “He did it his way!” Cremation has taken place. A private graveside service will be held at Woodlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. A Celebration of Life will be held at the ANAF Club, 32 Gordon St, Guelph from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Friday, August 12, 2016 for all friends and family. RIGBY, John  APRIL 19, 2015  John passed suddenly yet peacefully at the Guelph General Hospital the age of 85.   John was the owner of John’s Car Sales on Woolwich Street, Guelph for decades. He was a proud supporter of the Everton Football team in England, and a beloved patron of the ANAF Club 344.  The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and the phenomenal nurses “his second family” who supported him at the Dialysis Clinic in Guelph.   Cremation has taken place.   The family will greet friends at the GILCHRIST CHAPEL – McIntyre & Wilkie Funeral Home, One Delhi Street, Guelph  on. Monday, April 25th from 10 to 11:30 a.m.  A Celebration of Life will follow in the funeral home chapel at 11:30 a.m.  Inurnment Woodlawn Memorial Park. KING, Andrew “Andy” August 25, 2015  Peacefully passed away with his loving family by his side, in his 69th year, at Guelph General Hospital.  Andy will lovingly be remembered by his many friends and family, and missed at the Club. JOHNSON, Edward David, August 21st, 2015 – Of Guelph, originally of Orillia, passed away at Guelph General Hospital  in his 74th year, after a difficult struggle with lung disease. Predeceased by his beloved wife Leona. WALLACE, George, July 18, 2015 Peacefully passed away with his family by his side, at Hospice Wellington. Family and friends are invited to the Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin Street N., Guelph (519-822-4731), on Wednesday, July 22nd between 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family graveside service will take place at a later date. BURTON, Desmond William, April 15, 2015 (former member) passed away peacefully, in the morning hours of Wednesday April 15, at aged 78. Desmond had served with the Royal Canadian Navy aboard the HMS Bonaventure, and had been a member of ANAF 344 for a number of years.   To visit his Death Notice, please click here.

DAVIES, David “Dai”, NOVEMBER 18, 2014 (long time member) passed peacefully at St. Josephs Health Care Centre with his family at his side, Dai was 72 years old. To visit his Death Notice, pleace click here.  His funeral was held on Saturday November 22, and memorial contributions to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Guelph Wish Fund for Children would be greatly appreciated. SCUTCHER, Ronald JULY 2oth, 2014 (founding member of Club 344), died peacefully at the Guelph General Hosptal, shortly after celebrating his 90th birthday. KELLY, Anthony V. (Tony) JUNE 18, 2014(previous member) In his 87th year, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
